PJAppSrv WAMP - Release 3.2

PJAppSrv is a very simple WAMP tool, with some unique features described below (WAMP means PHP, Apache, and MySQL packaged together for Windows platforms).

This software is preconfigured for development process, for production we suggest to revise configurations of servers. Our main achieved goal is an easier and fast development and deployment of our PHP projects. Beacuse all develpers develop and test their code on the same platform.

Another secondary goal is for accounts that may install PJAppSrv on their laptops and show directly to their customers your solutions.

besides many other sites. Release 1.0 started in 2003, and from release 2.2 it is available online for download since 2005.

Main features:

There are some features that make PJAppSrv unique compared to other competitors software:

• It doesn't install Apache and MySQL as services,
  we use it for development process so we prefer to have our servers running as normal programs, even because we use Linux as production OS for PHP/MySQL solutions.
• It uses my.ini and php.ini from server directory,
  with latest release of PHP and MySQL it is easy to do, but not to take for granted with other WAMP tool.
• It includes our preferred MySQL database tools,
  HeidiSQL (derived from mysql-front 2 and became GPL), a wonderful tool with everything in the right place.
• It includes recent releases of applications
  PHP 5.2, Apache 2, MySQL 5.0

Other features:

• an autostart system that start servers, reduce it as trayicon and open browser with a PHP application
• one-click to open application folder, to launch browser, and to open manuals
• configure buttons to open your preferred manuals
• support of IonCube encoded files

Updates in release 3.1:

• close main window when PJ open new windows
• support for socket in PHP (standard extension)
• mysql configured for case insenstive table name
• splash screen
• new installer
• other improvements

Download

It requires .NET Framework 2.0 but the installer does the check itself and if necessary downloads missing requirements. There is available only one package of about 33.5 Mb, it embeds english manuals too.
